Support
Humblebrag is made by one person, and that person answers this email. Most questions are below — if yours is not, write and you will get a real reply.
Email vuko@vukodev.comPlease include your iPhone model and iOS version — it saves a round trip.
I paid but the app still shows the paywall
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall. Purchases live on your Apple Account, so this is all that is needed on a new phone or after a reinstall — make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought the subscription. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Humblebrag → Cancel Subscription, or open Subscriptions directly. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the current period ends. We cannot cancel it for you — only Apple can.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled entirely by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
My activity numbers are empty or wrong
Check that Health access is granted: Health app → Profile → Privacy → Apps → Humblebrag, and turn on the categories you want (steps, distance, flights climbed, active energy). Humblebrag only ever reads Health data, never writes it. If a number looks wrong, compare it with the Health app itself — we show exactly what Health reports for the period.
A comparison looks wrong or unbelievable
Every fact links to its source — long-press the line and choose Learn more to open the Wikipedia article behind it. If you find a fact that is genuinely wrong, please email it to us; we fix those quickly and they matter more to us than features.
I want my data deleted
Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device — that is the bulk of it, because health data, names and dates never leave your iPhone. The only remaining record is anonymous subscription bookkeeping held by our payment services under a random ID. Email us and we will relay a deletion request for it.
The widget is not updating
Open the app once — widgets are refreshed from what the app last computed, and iOS limits how often it can wake them. If a widget shows “Open Humblebrag once to fill this in”, that is exactly what it needs.
