How many days have I been alive?
Multiply your age in years by 365.25 — the quarter-day is what leap years add back. At 30 that is about 10,957 days; at 40, 14,610; at 50, 18,262. For the exact figure, count the days from your date of birth to today, inclusive of leap days.
The reason the answer is a multiplication rather than a lookup is leap years: three years of 365 days and one of 366, averaging 365.25. Over a lifetime that quarter-day compounds into weeks, which is why an exact count needs your actual date of birth rather than your age.
A number that large stops meaning anything on its own. Ten thousand days sounds like a lot until you learn what else took ten thousand days — and then it lands.
